Uncle Mason seems to be pretty mellow initially, especially compared to Tyler, but anger is kind of a Lockwood family tradition. Are we going to see Mason show his temper any time soon?
Of course. Mason grew up in Mystic Falls, but he left probably before college, before adulthood, and he’s come of age now. He’s learned to harness his rage and to deal with problems in a more amicable way than lashing out the way that Tyler is right now. He’s comes back to Mystic Falls because of the death of his brother, but he stays because he empathizes with where Tyler is right now. He recognizes himself in Tyler and he knows the curse that’s in their bloodline. He’s going to try to help Tyler keep from being so on edge all the time.

New character to appear in season 2 of the Vampire Diaries.

Yes, as I said above, a new Female character will appear in Season 2 of the Vampire Diaries. Her name is Sarah, and yes as the picture is showing in the left side, Maiara Walsh is the actress.

According to William Keck from TV Guide, In Vampire Diaries’ Oct. 7 episode, Maiara will appear as Sarah,  a high schooler who likes to party.

And Kevin Williamson told William: “Sarah is a girl who sets her eyes on Jeremy and encourages him to party it up at the Lockwood house.” Hmm, sounds interesting, yeah?

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ – Simon Miller has been set to guest star on the “Memory Lane” (02×04) episode of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.  He plays George Lockwood, the patriarch in a long-line of werewolves in the town of Mystic Falls. However, George must conspire with Katherine, his mortal enemy, played by series star Nina Dobrev, in order to save himself and his blood-line.

The episode is written by Caroline Dries, based on the novel by L.J.  Smith.  It is directed by Rob Hardy for Warner Bros and the CW Network and is being shot in Atlanta, Georgia.

Simon has signed with famed-manager Lou Pitt of the Pitt Group.  He continues to be agented by Ryan Dalyof Innovative Talent. His most recent appearances have been guest-starring roles on multiple episodes of GOSSIP GIRL and on CSI: MIAMI”

I still remember how most of the viewers hated Uncle John, except me. Ofcourse I don’t love him, but I do not hate him.

And we all remember how he got stabbed and his finger got chopped by Katherine, but the question is…Will John die?

Were you approached for the role of John?
Yeah. They came to me. I knew Ian Somerhalder. He’s a friend of mine, and I thought it would be fun to go out there and play vampire for a little bit. It proved to be just that. I was impressed with the level of acting on the show, and the writing and the dark, totally grounded in reality
